Bali

A small shrine at the edge of a flooded rice terrace in Bali

Rice fields, surf breaks and some of the best small hotels anywhere.

Bali is where independent hospitality is at its most inventive: ten-room hotels with better design than most five-star chains, villas and holiday rentals tucked into rice fields, cafes that set the trend for the rest of the world.

It's also one of the most competitive places on earth to fill a room. Every property is on Instagram. The ones that win are the ones whose content feels like being there.

Based in Canggu, shooting across Pererenan, Seminyak and Uluwatu.

Why content matters more in Bali

Bali has more places to stay than most guests could compare in a month, and almost every one of them is on Instagram. Guests choose from what they see before they ever read a description, so the picture they form of a stay does most of the selling.

Seasons make it sharper. The wet season runs roughly November to March, and quieter months are exactly when a property needs fresh content working for it. A UGC creator in Bali who knows the island's light and rhythm can plan for both.

What we shoot here

Villas and small hotels are the core: arrival, room reveals, the pool at sunrise, breakfast, the evening. Restaurants, cafes, beach clubs, spas, surf schools and yoga studios get content shaped around their own best hour.

Every project is built from a shot list agreed before we start, and finished as vertical video, talking-to-camera UGC and edited photographs you can use across social, ads, your website and booking pages.

Working with us in Bali

My base is in Canggu. Uluwatu, Seminyak and Ubud are easy to reach by arrangement, so we can plan shoots across more than one area on a single visit.

There are two ways to work together. A Content Stay is a stay plus a production fee, and it's the main way we work. A Content Day is a paid shoot for venues without rooms, and a Content Retainer keeps fresh content coming every month. Tell us about your property and we'll suggest the right fit.

Questions

Working in Bali.

Do you work with properties outside Canggu?
Yes. Canggu is my base, and I travel to Pererenan, Seminyak, Uluwatu and Ubud by arrangement. If your property is elsewhere on the island, ask and we'll check what's practical.
Do you do free stays for content in Bali?
No. You're paying for a production. On a Content Stay, accommodation is part of the deal and keeps the fee down, but the content is what you're buying. Venues without rooms book a paid Content Day instead.
When is the best time to shoot in Bali?
Any time of year works. The dry season gives reliable sun, and the wet season, roughly November to March, gives greener scenery and moodier skies. We plan the shot list around the season you're in.
Do you shoot restaurants and wellness studios as well as villas?
Yes. Restaurants, cafes, bars, spas, yoga studios, surf schools and tours all work well, usually on a Content Day built around the best light.
